Welcome to Bhaikaka Krishi Kendra: A Sanctuary of Sustainable Farming

Nestled near the vibrant town of Vallabh Vidyanagar, Bhaikaka Krishi Kendra is more than just a farm; it’s a heartfelt tribute to Bhailalbhai Dahyabhai Patel, fondly known as Bhaikaka, the visionary behind the town of Vidyanagar. His legacy continues to thrive through this land. This 40-acre haven is dedicated to holistic Organic and Biodynamic farming, creating a thriving ecosystem that nourishes both the earth and its people.

A Holistic Farming Experience

At Bhaikaka Krishi Kendra, Mr. Sarvdaman Patel embraces a comprehensive approach to sustainable agriculture, integrating all facets of farming into our vibrant 40-acre operation. Our dairy excellence shines through it’s history of nurturing nearly 100 animals producing 300-350 liters of fresh milk daily, proudly serving 85 customers and a 500-bed hospital for over 25 years, ensuring you enjoy the purest, healthiest milk available. Experience the flavors of nature with our bountiful produce, featuring a diverse range of fruits like sweet chikoo, jamun, rose-apple, litchi, custard-apple, guava, mulberry, juicy mangoes and many more fruits alongside over 40 varieties of crisp winter vegetables. We prioritize water conservation through thoughtfully designed trenches and ponds that capture every drop of rain, promoting effective water harvesting and sustainable resource management. Additionally, we cultivate a variety of cereals and pulses, including oats, bajra, barley, and wheat, reinforcing our commitment to biodiversity and self-sufficiency.

Biodynamic Practices in Action

Recognized in the acclaimed film One Man, One Cow, One Planet, our farm is celebrated as one of the best Biodynamic farms globally by Peter Proctor, the Father of Indian Biodynamic Agriculture. His year-long mentorship in 2006 transformed our practices, turning our organic farm into a vibrant model of sustainability.

At Bhaikaka Krishi Kendra, we believe in the power of education. Our mission extends beyond our fields; we aim to empower small and marginal farmers with sustainable farming techniques. We regularly host training courses led by renowned experts, including David Hogg, to share our knowledge and practices.

Our farm has become a pilgrimage site for farming enthusiasts, having hosted the third biennial OFAI (Organic Farming Association of India) conference, which attracted over 700 farmers from across India. Join us in this journey toward ecologically safe and sustainable farming!

Whether you’re a farmer eager to learn or a consumer passionate about organic produce, we invite you to join our journey toward a sustainable future.

Together, let’s cultivate a healthier planet for generations to come!
